Off-premise Event, Catering Sales Manager
Paris Caterers, Washington DC off-premise event and catering company seeks a Sales Manager to lead sales and business development in the greater Washington DC area.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing client relationships
- Maintain company’s existing client base such as corporate, association, Diplomatic/Embassy and US government catering acc.
- Provide prompt customer service
- Menu creation, costing and proposal development
- Attend trade network events, client meetings, and event/walk-through meetings
- Marketing and PR activities
- Able to work on weekends and holidays
- Create and manage a sales force
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hotel Management or Culinary Arts
- Knowledge of menu design and food presentation
- Personal transportation
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of employment with a company in the Food and Entertainment industry
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, highly organized
- Problem solving and ability to accommodate client requests
- Experience with large events (500+ guests)
- Strong computers skills: Word, Excel, Salesforce.com, Synergy
Above position requires:
